Missed rego day? It’s not too late to join!

If you couldn’t make it to our recent registration day, don’t stress. You can pop down to the club from 9am to 11am on Sunday 4, 11 and 18 October – George (our Admin Officer) will be there to answer your questions and help you join.

Don’t forget, you can also join online.

Then, we’ll see you at the beach for the start of Woodside Nippers on Sunday 25 October.

Club Background

There are many aspects to the Denmark Surf Life Saving Club, including patrolling, education programs for our members, a fantastic family atmosphere, competition and a strong development program for our junior members.

Denmark Surf Life Saving Club was formed in November 1958 after a tragic double drowning at Ocean Beach. In the days after the tragedy a town meeting was called and the Denmark Surf Life Saving Club was formed.

A small group of young men from the town received training from visiting lifesavers from the City of Perth club, with the first patrol at Ocean Beach commencing on the 14th December 1958. In 2008, the Denmark Club celebrated their 50th anniversary with a weekend of activities to which a fair number of those who were involved in the formative years managed to attend.

The Club now has now grown to have one of the best located clubrooms on the WA coast, much to the envy of many visiting members from other clubs. Our membership totals nearly 400, with around 180 juniors participating in our Woodside Nippers program. We have four patrol teams rostered on weekends from the first weekend in December until the last weekend in March.
