Awards & Courses

How can I become involved and what is available for me at the club.

For a start there are many lifesaving awards available for members of all ages and capabilities.

Probably the best known is the Bronze Medallion, the basic award for a patrolling lifesaver. Not for every-one and requires a reasonable level of swimming ability and fitness.

Not so well known is the Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC). This is the award some of our Nipper parents have being achieving over the last few years. Not so demanding as the Bronze, this award allows you to act as water safety during our nipper water activities.
